Advance Your Practice: Headstands

In this workshop, we’ll work on skills to successfully create a headstand practice. We will take our time preparing our bodies and minds in a very thoughtful and methodical way, so that we feel confident taking our practice to the next level. Even if in the class you cannot stick a headstand, we will learn and understand what needs to be opened or strengthen in order to get us there one day. We will use strong alignment based practice to deepen our body awareness so we know how the practice applies to our bodies. We will use props to support the growth of our practice. There will be plenty of time to address questions.
This class is intended for those who wish to deepen their asana practice, and want to explore more challenging postures. It is strongly recommended that you currently feel confident in the foundation of your asana practice before attending this workshop.
