Anba Dlo is Kréyol for "Under the Waters." It refers to the realm of departed souls. On all Hallows Eve, the day of remembrance for the departed, we call these souls forth. In New Orleans, this name has special resonance; our city has been called up from Under the Waters to rise, rebuild and heal.

This Halloween, the place to be is the heart of the burgeoning St Claude Avenue Arts District! This festival has been selected as an official Louisiana Passport Event of the World Cultural Economic Forum.
Schedule of events:
5 -7 pm: The New Orleans Hope and Heritage Film Festival and panel discussion
5 pm: opening of The St. Claude Collective Art Exhibit
7 pm – 12am: Outdoor Live Music Venue
7 pm. – 2 am: DJs Tom Harvey, Caleb Law & Frenzi spin Underground Dance Grooves inside.

Tom has performed at Voodoo Music Fest for 6 of the last 10 years, as a DJ and drummer for Noomoon Tribe.

The Sacred Music Room will feature performances by Michael Skinkus, Hart McNee and Moyuba, a mix of sacred Santeria and Jazz, Sean Johnson and The Wild Lotus Band sharing ecstatic kirtan yoga chant grooves,9 Ghosts featuring the dreamy music of Mark Darnell Marquez, and the uplifting voices of New Orleans' interracial gospel choir Shades of Praise. This space will also feature whirling trance dancers!
